Clinics (Referee and Score Keeping)

NAGVA offers the exam portions for Referee and Score Keeping certification online (NAGVA). If you are interested in taking the referee and scorekeeper certification tests online, please write to the NAGVA VP of Officials at officials@nagva.org. The NAGVA VP of Officials will supply you with the necessary link and login required to take the test. The practical (observation) portion of the certification process will take place during the tournament. Each team is required to have a certified referee to officiate matches on both days.

Teams will be charged the following fees if they do not have certified referees:

  • $30 for a certified up-referee (per match); and
  • $30 for a certified scorekeeper (per match).

In order to help save you money, please be sure you have at least one certified up-referee and one certified scorekeeper.
